For decades, my life revolved around bedside nursing, raising children, and loving my grandchildren. Stories lived quietly in my journals and between shifts, waiting for their moment.

Readiness never just arrives. Guided by family and the encouragement of my late mother-in-law, I stopped waiting for permission. At 68, I sat down and began drafting my first book.

At 70, my debut novel New Beginnings arrived, followed by A Chance Meeting in 2025. Starting late proved that your creative life is never behind you.
